If I've asked this question before, I apologize in advance. This is the 2nd time in a few months that I went to Equifax's website to request a "one time only" CR with my CS. I realize this won't be a true score but it will give me a ball park score that I can work with. I can get one at work free which will be a true score, however it will ding my CR. I filled out the app for a single report, hit submit and the response was I already have an account. Next I entered my user id and password and the response was "user id or password is incorrect" and to either call customer care or click on the "forgot password and/or user id" link. I entered in the required data... DOB, SS#, last name. The response to this was they have no records that match my data. Seriously? after doing business with them for over 10 years? I called Equifax last time this happened.... a few months back..... and after speaking with a CR who spoke bad english I ended up spending over $30.95 for a single report with CS which is offered on their website for $15.95. So what is with Equifax? It never used to be this difficult. Forget TransUnion, can't even find a page on their website that offers a single report. Any suggestions or insights as to what is going on? Thanks in advance for any and all replies.
