Some of the credit card issuers according to board members never approve online even though their web page says they do.
The only thing i've ever got online approval was the aria card, and that sucked. i did however get 2 cap 1's, and a citibank without it. (my gf and my bro got online approval at citibank!!%!%!%@!#!@#!@#). If your credit aint great, don't expect it. Man back in the days there was no online approval you mailed in a app, and month or so later, you got yes or no
I was approved by Sears with credit limit, but not by Target.Their approval came with the card two weeks later.
I was approved recently online by Jcpenney (my first store card), target and spiegel, but not for saks (they aproved me later)
