    Hi,

I'm looking for a new online bank account in addition to my main account. Problem is my credit score isn't very good so I'm worrying about applications I'm going to make. Some banks like eccount banking who I found on google offer basic bank accounts without checking your credit rating. Does anyone have any experiene with accounts like these?

    Thanks very much.

You shouldn't need good credit to open any checking account. I've never personally used eccount, but I checked out their site and they look legitimate. I would compare what they offer to a more well-known service, like ING's online checking account, before deciding what is best for you.

    Hi

I have been using PerkStreet Financial for over 16 months now, they donâ??t check credit BUT you need a clean Chexsystem to open an account.

I love the perks â?? 1% to 2% cash back on their Debt card, monthly 5% cash back on retailers you vote for, example of Septemberâ??s 5% cash back: ACE Hardware, Textbooks.com, William Sonoma â?? use your Debt card online or in the store you get 5% cash back. In 16 months and I have over $300 that I can convert to cash or gift cards; I use it to add to my Christmas fund/budget.

Over 42,000 free ATMs â?? any STAR ATM can be used to w/draw cash, on-line access including mobile, I can overnight via any UPS store any checks I receive for free and free on-line bill pay and you get hard copy checks if you use them. I have yet to pay a banking fee.

No lending, no credit cards or loans but I am not in need of these options at this time so Iâ??m ok with that. So if you donâ??t need a brick and mortar bank PerkStreet is perfect. Good luck with everything.

Here is a bank that you can link your main bank account with.

USAA. They have it all. Check them out.

I would check out your local credit unions. In my experience they have less fees. My local credit unions network together so you can use any of their ATM's without any extra fees. Thanks! Heather with BoostMyScore.NET
