Can anyone tell me where I can open a bank acct. in IL. with bad credit? Either online or actual branch. I'm not on Check Systems. I tried Bank 1 and they ran a credit check and denied me. Please, I need to open one soon. Also, what are the requirements for online banks and how fast can an account be opened? Thanks a ton!!
There is umbrellabank.com and principalbank.com I think. Not sure on the pulls but it may be soft I am thinking.

Re: Online bank acct. with bad cred If your "telecheck" report is clear try usaa.com. Now it looks like they are Military only but they allow anyone to use their banking products. The offer a visa check card with a 1/2 percent cash rebate and a great checking and savings package that will actually make you money! I am leaving my bricks and mortar bank for them.
