30 days ago I dispute two items online w/ ex. I go back to review and now I need an Investigation ID. After the dispute I was given a report number. I was never given an Investigation ID. I know this because I copied the entire page with confirmation details for future reference. Anyone else had this problem ?
Experian will send an investigation ID after they complete their investigation. I would discourage anyone from disputing with experian online because they will send you a report number and invest ID to your email address, but they won't necessarily send a hard copy of that investigation. You will only be able to view the results online for a period of 3 or 4 days. I am no fan of experian when it comes to disputes.
