I disputed an item online with eqifax. I went to online investigation to see if anything had changed. Usually it says still investigating....and it gives the date it should be done. This time it said start an investigation....the item I had disputed wasn't there. So, I'm guessing it got deleted and i'll get a letter in the mail. But I went to my creditwatch and got a new credit profile as of today.....It still showed the item on there....what does that mean? Is it gone, or not? Thanks Me
Hi, I posted something similar to this because the same thing happened to me. To make matters worse, I received 2 different confirmation #'s and one shows the disputed items & the other doesn't. I'm waiting for the report in the mail to see what it says but all this waiting sucks...I feel like a child at Christmas. Good luck.
Steff, Waiting is the worst! First you wait 30 days, then another 7-14 for the letter to get to your house...I have no patience as it is. Let me know how it works out for you ...Thanks Me
