I just got my TU report and I got 5/5 deleted! It was all done online and I was able to side step teh Local affiliate, who investigated the very same items and said they were verified, yeah right! TU investigates and all 5 are deleted. Now I am down to 3 items on TU. I would be down to 2 but an unexpected collection account popped up that is definitely not mine, the company does not even have my name or social security so I expect to get this one removed real soon, I dusted off my validation letter and fired a letter to the collection agency I sort of like the fact it is a collection agency, makes things a little easier. Congrats, Cypri. I really like hearing of your recent good days after your previous spate of "bad" days. Your persistence is paying off. It's a good thing you are able to clear things up now so you can focus on your studies in the fall. PS: does your Mom know you've been doing what she told you to?

Thanks, Donna, Mist and Chris! Yes Mist my Mom knows. I know hopefully my "bad" days are almost over. I did get some real "bad" news, my own bank that I have three accounts with denied me for a line of credit to day and when I tried to speak with the credit review dept. I got this A@#%&*! who gave me company policy about you can't have any derogatory information on your credit report blah blah blah, .....then if you feel your report is being reported in error tehn you should contact the Credit reporting agency,,,blah blah, blah.... I mean AMEX was willing to consider me as long as I have no derogatory less than a year and this A------ denied me because I have any derogs, even though that one is from 5 years ago and the other was really three years ago but its reporting as of Nov. 2000, I am also disputing that one. They are also both paid. I was very disappointed in my bank. I should have gone to the local branch but I was lazy and did not feel like driving over there last week. They are building one less than a mile from my home and its almost finish I will definitely accquaint myself with the staff once its open. Chris: I did get your e-mail, I will write you back soon, I had to put a few fires today. Oh well, you cannot win it all. I am bracing for my score to drop because of that damn collection that popped up today. Cypri
