I have a 1500 charge off from Cap One on my credit and on TU and EQ I see they have online disputing, my question is, is this online method better than by mail or worse. What would be your suggestions? Im thinking of still doing it by mail because of the CMRR, but someone enligten me because I want to disute this Cap one charge off being that the CL was only 200 dollars so I dont know how it got that high. Thanks.

I have used the online disputing on all three..Worked good for Exp and TU but Eq was a little more difficult...
I had a cap1 removed but not a 2nd one.. I am having to CMRR them about it.. I,m pretty sure at this point it is going to have to be the paper trail route for myself.. Online seems to be an OK start some items.

Online is cool for simple, disputes that do not require doc proof... not mine, incorrect balance etc. It's a little faster, too so if you're in a hurry, could save you a couple of weeks.

My cap one I believe is an incorrect balance so I don't think im going to do the online dispute. Seems like it has less evidence than the mail also. Maybe Im wrong. Any other veterans have any ideas>
