Ok, we all know when you dispute online at Equifax, when you go back and look at the same report number, it will first give you a screen that says that a dispute is in progress. Then, if you click "Start another investigation," you get the report minus the inprogress disputes. But, what, if anything, does it mean, if you do this and it goes directly to the dispute screen and skips the middle screen where it says a dispute is in progress? Does this one signify the results? Mine has definitely changed from the first situation to the second. And, in both cases, what I was disputing is gone. But, I wondered if the 2nd one (without the ongoing dispute screen between) might mean it is really gone. Sigh..I hope that made sense..if not, indulge me and pretend, o.k.?
