Newbie here. if i have four collection accounts do i send a validation letter to the CA or the CRA??? like i said new to this.

no, they very often cannot validate the debt completely therefore by law are not able to ding your credit report, however, this process may take a while . it may take more than one letter, and you may even have to sue them. they are not used to people knowing their rights, good luck. btw, the validation letter process has worked for me in several occasions.
