Thanks to the info I have received here, the only baddie left on my TU report is the BK from 8/1997. The BK is listed as $0 Assets and $0 Liabilities. Any suggestions in getting this removed?
Dispute it with a letter stating that you never had a bk with $0 assets $0 liabilities. I've had people tell me that is how theirs came off. It didn't work for me with EX waiting on TU and EQ.
Mine worked with TU. I don't know if it had anything to do with it, but I made mine a hand written dispute. Very cordial and sounding just befuddled that a BK could be on my CR. Worked like a charm. The BK came off. Interestingly, though, they did not send me any confirmation like they do on all the rest. It has been about 9 mo since and it has not reappeared
