I have read that there are opinion letters out there that say an OC who is attemtping to collect a charged of acct(past 180 days) IS held to the FDCPA. Can anyone point me to the specific letter?

    Thanks

Jlynn's right. The FDCPA does not apply to the OC unless they are using an "in house" collection agency that does not identify it's affiliation with the OC.

thats what I thought. But I have read posts that said otherwise. I couldnt find anything supporting that, however, so I figured I'd ask.
