Does anyone know if the opt out option with the credit bureaus includes credit header information?

I am finding that most individuals aren't aware of the fact that your file header info (current/past addresses, employment info) are NOT covered by the FCRA.

    EXPERIAN...
    Consumer Alert
    You may have seen a
    widely circulated
    chain-type e-mail that
claims that as of July 1,
    2001 credit reporting
    agencies can share your
    credit history with anyone,
at any time for any reason.
    This claim is totally false
    and without merit.
    The federal Fair Credit
    Reporting Act specifies who
can obtain a copy of your
    credit report and under
    what circumstances.
    Experian is in full
    compliance with the laws
    governing disclosure of
credit files. If you wish to
    obtain additional
    information about
    consumer credit issues
    please visit the Ask Max
    credit advice column on
    this Web site. The August
    8, 2001 issue discusses this
    e-mail.
