My husband and I are trying to get our finances back in order. We have, knowingly, made some bad decisions thinking we could recover and we are finding ourselves in more and more of a difficult position. We have two pay day loans that are in good standing, but take a chunk of our paycheck each week (I work VERY part-time from home while he works full time). We are behind on nearly every utility and struggle each month to have spare money while using our entire back overdraft each and every pay day. We will most likely not make rent this next month. We have no goods that are worth selling to make extra money and no family that can or is willing to help. What options do I, honestly, have to help us get current and back in the positive so we can start making payments properly and no miss rent due in the next few weeks. We make enough money, we just got too behind, too fast to repay.
Your options are pretty cut and dry- cut expenses, increase income, or engage in a combination of the two to generate more cash flow. List your monthly expenses and income and perhaps we can help you find a way to cut even more out of your budget than you already have. Is there something keeping you from working a full-time job as well?
honestly, many people all over the World are struggling because of the recession. I suggest that you find a full-time job and try to cut some other expenses. Hopefully you can bounce back!
I think a little sacrifice and hardwork would play a big role. When cutting expenses, cut those who are not needed and try not to buy things that are luxurious. Estimate budget for groceries as well.
Both you and your husband should be asking everyone you know about opportunities to make extra money. Finding part time or full time work. It could be babysitting for one of your friends, helping someone doing fix up work around their house. You must think outside the box. Every little bit of extra money will help you get out of this situation. Of course cut any extra expenses that you can within reason. You could check out your local food bank too. They are there is help people in the community that are down on their luck. Maybe you only need to go there once, but it could help you get caught up. Remember to stay positive!
