I OPTED OUT by calling 1-888-5OPTOUT today. The recorded message said that I would be permanently removed from the rolls of TU,EX,EQ and Inovis. I am not even sure how Innovis is spelled. I did a search on the board for these guys and it sure looks like they are the 4th CRA.
I think it's spelled Innovis. And yes, they're the next CRA. At first most thought they were just collecting negative information that had been deleted from EX, EQ, and TU, but I believe some have reported that they've received their reports and the report contained both positive and negative info. However, the reports were not complete or as full of info as the other CRA's are.
BIG 3+1... People have asked for their credit report and have been DENIED...they say they are NOT a CRA or are in the process of development... They also SPOUT that they do NOT have on-line access...so you have to say "WELL STUPID, MAIL IT TO ME...I NEVER ASKED FOR ON-LINE ACCESS"
The RUMOR MILL had this company being a "SUPER SECRET" storage place for ALL the removed information from the "BIG 3"...REGARDLESS OF IT'S CORRECTNESS!!! So you have a SEARS account that has 50 x 30 days late on your report and you are 20 years old so NO WAY CAN THAT BE YOURS, and you have a letter from SEARS that you NEVER had an account...this information went to BIG #4...even though it was 100% WRONG!!! If you think EQUIFAX is a BRICK WALL...you haven't seen anything yet...
