I filed BK(7) almost 2 years ago and have never tried Orchard or any Household offer personally. The girlfriend I live with filed BK(7) almost one year ago. I helped her set up a secured Orchard account around 6 months ago. She received an unsecured offer from them this week and I am 50-50 on it right now. Can anyone here tell me from their own personal experience if the Orchard or other Household offers are decent or a waste of time after a BK(7)? Credit limit raises, how long? how much? etc. Is this a decent long term builder? Or do they give better offers after having them a long time?
Since it has been so long since you filed you should be able to apply for a regular card, not the secured one. Household is very BK friendly.
