I applied tonight and was approved for a Classic Plus card. It says that it has a $59 annual fee. Does anyone know if after you're approved if you could call to have this changed? I dont mind paying it since its going to be the only major credit card I can get (recently turned down by providian and cap1) but if its possible to have it waived and others were successful in doing it then im definitely gonna give it a shot. Does anyone know what kind of credit limits the Classic plus has? It gave me an approval message but gave no details as to the credit limit or anything. Thanks everyone for any input.
I have had an Orchard card for 5 years and they will not waive the fee. I call every year. And keep trying. My annual fee is only $20. I would dump this card but it is my oldest by far.
Does anyone know what kind of credit limit they have? Im hoping its at least $500, but im not too sure. I dont mind paying the fee since its going to be my only true credit card, but if the limit is too low then it might not be worth it.
