I have had my Orchard MC for over 5 months now. I made a payment of 460.00 to zero my account. I called C.S. to ask for a credit line increase. She ran a "program" and stated "you are eligible for a $100.00 increase for a fee of $10.00". Wrong. I declined and was told that my account would be reviewed for an automatic increase 2-3 times a year. When I first got the card, C.S. said I would get an automatic increase after 4 months of good history. Wrong. Anyway, would a call to retention or a letter through PlanetFeedback be the best next step? Anyone with experience? Thanks.

I had 2 cards through them. One was a year and a half (One $129?? increase $429 CL) the other was 11 months($300 CL NO increases).

I called up CSR about a month ago when I first found this board and requested my accounts be reviewed and CL raised they put it in the computer and came back refused.I was furious. I have never been late/never over limit/ nothing although I do keep a balance on both of them about $100 less than CL (thats the only thing I could think would be the problem)!! They could not tell me why. Off to PFB I went and waited and waited and I'm still waiting LOL. So last week I called the retention number I found here and said I wanted to close both accounts bcuz of the limits and no increase. All they said was well you paid your annual fee so its just like throwing that money away why don't you wait until its time to renew the account and plus these are good accounts to have to re-establish credit. LOL what a joke! So I closed them both

now..... The 11 month old account is being reported as FCBA dispute resolved consumer disagrees

When I called them up they had no idea what or why this is and to call the CRA'S to take care of it.

I have 2 of their cards; one at $1400, one at $800. I started out at $300 on both cards. Almost everytime I've zeroed out on of these cards, they give me a $300 increase. I have no complaints as they gave me a card when no one else would. I never carry more than a 50% balance on these cards either. I did take one paid increase about 6 mos ago. Then they turned around and gave me another $300 on top of it for free. Hope this helps.

I just got off the phone with Orchard Retention. I was told that I had to have the card 6 months with good payment history before I could get an increase. No go on APR reduction either. (I have had the card for over 5 months with perfect history and now 0 balance.) Furthermore, she said that they have new policies now and automatic increases don't start until after at least one year of good payment history. She then asked if I still wanted to cancel. I told her I would think about it and let her know.
I guess they really don't care about keeping good customers. I will keep the card another month, and if I don't get a decent CL increase, I will cancel it. The next time they offer an increase for a fee, I will cancel on the spot. Bah!!
