I noticed it says they can charge a application fee plus and annual fee.

Has anyone been charged both fees?

If you get turned down for unsecured do they offer you a secured? The reps won't give me a straight answer.

I was charged $49 for an application fee and $49 for an annual fee.

Hubby was charged $19 for an application fee and $79 for an annual fee.

I know if you go to their website, they'll pull a soft inquiry off of Experian and let you know which one of their cards you'd have the best chances of qualifying for (secured, unsecured, etc).

As for whether someone is automatically considered for a secured card if denied for the unsecured, I do not believe so.
