i sent them a letter via planet feedback asking for increase i have no reponse is this typical and is there another plan of action someone can suggest
I have found them useless to deal with on the phone, my account is only 4 months old, I am told it must be six months old before anything can be done.
Call them. I have had excellent luck with customer service that way. How old is your account? I got my first increase at about 6 months. My limits after a year are pretty decent, considering where I started.
i have had the card since 01/01 never been late but in june went over by 2.57 thats two dollars and 57 cents i have called them and they just keep saying no
Well, another trick that has worked with me is paying the card off, wait a week(for everything to get caught up) and then ask. That netted me a $250 increase a few months back.
Ironically I have had very good luck with Orchard. My account with Orchard was opened in 8/98 with a 1200 limit.....it is now $5,000 and I keep it only as an emergency card because the lowest Apr with Orchard is 15.9. The customer service rep I spoke with said there are plans in the near future to lower or convert good paying accounts to Household Cards . Anyway, just a thought ...hang in there good things will come. Sean
Just approved for a Orchard card..But apparently the lowest now is 9%..At least that is the offer that I recieved..Could be even lower now who knows..I was pleasantly surprised
