Anybody know how long until I can expect a CLI from Orchard mastercard? I understand I can buy a CLI but dont want to spend money on CLI, they say that a acct review happens monthly and when I qualify they will increase, Just curious as to any experiences with them,
    Thanks

I've had my Orchard MC since early Aug. and they haven't given me a credit increase yet. I asked for one last month and they said it was too soon. Go figure. They better give me one soon or I'm going to cancel the card.

Dont hold your breath, I cancelled my hh card in 9 of 00 after a year of holding the account and paying the balance each month. Retention offered me a 100 increase on an account with a $400 limit and that was while I had a b of a account with a then cl of 6k, 700 scores across the board and good income .... Needless to say I laughed at the retention dipshit and cancelled, he the rep at hh couldnt understand why I would close the account as it was building my credit... at that point I made it clear to the csr that they were no longer helping but hurting and advised them to cancel the account lest the call become very ugly :) Dont expect HH to jump through any hoops for you.

They are a subprime card I have only asked for two other cl increases in my recent life one was this month with bofa and they upped my cl by 7 fold and gave me the signature card and the other was with nordstrom and now I can dress in nordstroms best in new clothes daily for a good month :)

HH is worth dumping, when I did it, it cost me 4 points on fico. And they all came back within a month.. Do not fall slave to the subprime lenders

Only after I had the card for six months, using it regularly, paying more than the minimum and sometimes twice a month, they upped my $300 CL to $450. I PFB'd them and they said Nope to a higher limit.

Wow same as me. I started with $300 limit just 2mos out of Ch7 BK, and in Feb it will be 2 yrs I am a cardholder with Orchard. I have had only 1 CLI up to $450 and that was a year ago. I am going to close the account early next year, as soon as I get my score to low 700's. They are not helping me any longer. I have EXCELLENT credit now anyway. Don't hold your breath waiting on Orchard, 'cause you'll surely die!

I would love to dump this card, but it is my oldest account by 2 years. My scores would really take a hit if I closed it.

It started out in 1998 a secured card with a $500 CL.

When I first got the card in the mail it had a $1000 cl which I thought was strange since I had only put $500 on deposit.

After 5 years my CL is only $2500. Looks pretty shabby next to my 10k Credit Union Visa, and my 10k MBNA Gold MC.

Just like the rest, when I get to 710-720 range I am dumping them. I am also going to send the card back to them all cut up, just for the effect.
