I called Orchard Bank about a rate reduction and was told they don't lower APR. What you get when you apply is what your stuck with. Member since 1998 with regular reviews and small incremental increases have me sitting at 18.9% and 1750. Anyone had success with Orchard via PFB?

I had one of the regular telephone people tell me that same line in May. I called retention and they lowered the APR on both my Household and Orchard accounts to 15.9% fixed.

I'm seeing alot of inconsistencies with them recently among members of this board. I have had my APR lowered without requesting it. I started with $300 and now have $1700 after a little over a year. I also received two checks in the mail last week to do balance transfers with. I've never been over limit, I usually pay it off or at least down every 3 or 4 months or so. They have been very good to me, considering where I've started.

I've been carrying a balance on this card since Feb 01. Charges every month and always pay more than the min. No lates or over the limit. What's the number to retention?
