What agency does Orchard pull from. What kind of score is needed?

They seem to first pull a soft from experian to see what you qualify for and then a hard from equifax. You can make it through the first part only to get shot down from the second.

Does anyone know what kind of score they seem to like? I've never applied but, I have a FPB and a Target card both never late. Should I waste my time?

orchard hates me. The preapproved me for a platinum household then denied me altogether when I applied. Used their website. My eq is mid 600's, but I knwo that lots of people have gotten them with alot lower score.

I think they must just look at names and say Y or N based on that. There doesn't seem to be any solid score or item they look for.
    Thanks for the help!

In Northern Ca, they so a soft on Transunion, but pull a hard on Equifax. I know I just applied, was denied,

Equifax is 612 with 3 CA, one paid, others in dispute
3 revolving credits, in good standing.

Did you do it online and were told no immediately? i did the application and was told that the classic was the card product I would "most likely" be approved for. Do this sound like I will be given the "D"?

Not sure if this was directed at me but I just applied online to see what I would get...I dont have a one time fee but I do have an annual fee...I think it may be $49.

I filled out the first application online and it said that the card I am most likely to qualify for is the classic witht he $49 fee due at application and if not approved it will be refunded. Does that sound correct?

I didn't get that one. I just got that I would be more than likely approved for the Mastercard and then A BIG FAT DENIED..

I got approved with a 630 for a secured card. Since I have a $5500 MBNA card I was somehow failing to see why I would take it so I hit the cancel button. Even with around a 670 or so I could not get an unsecured card but nothing new there.

Wow that is odd...it proves my theory that they go by some other way..not scores. Maybe it's even and odd birth years LOL. I got you are more than likely to be approved for the Classic Master card with that fee. My scores are not as high as yours, do you have any baddies on your reports? I have one for $288. it's paid and they will delete but, I am waiting for that to happen. Thanks for the input!

Did it deny you online or did they send you something?

590s? Arrghhhh fico is stupid. No biggie as on worthknowing a few months ago I could only qualify for 4 secured cards and that was with a 724 tu score. They will turn you down online(at least for me).

Would I love to have an MBNA with a 5500CL. What APR did they give you off the bat?.

When applying online it just told me that I would most likely be approved for a Mastercard...so I went ahead and I was approved for a Mastercard...nothing about any kind of one time fee though. It didnt tell me a credit limit...I called customer service a couple of days later and they told me it was a $1000 CL.
