Hello, I've read several posts with information on determining the original date of delinquency. Several of them reference the 1st late payment payment that led to the charge off or collection.. I have a couple of accounts that I paid late a couple of times in 1996, caught up with payments and later in 1997 paid some late again. The account was never charged off or sent to collection because I eventually caught up and paid the accounts in full. They are using the 1997 lates as the original dates of delinquency, is that correct? Sorry it's a long and confusing. Any help you could provide is appreciated.
