One of my questions from earlier didn't get answered, so I'll post it again... Has anyone been able to get another Providian card after they revoked an account? Of course the account has been paid now, but I was stupid then and would really like to have them now. I applied over the phone and they told me no "the offer you applied for is only available to those who have never had a providian account before." I would like to call back and have the denial overturned by a supervisor. Do you think I'll have any luck?

One of their New Accounts Supervisors actually told me he'd reinstate any account that was closed by Providian and that now shows $0 balance. Saar
