    Just kidding...

ANIMAL CONTROL investigated our dog and said we have a very quiet dog...if ALL the neighbors dogs would SHUT UP...OURS WOULD NEVER BARK!!!

If the dog is outside, you can use Pavlovian reflexes to train the dog to stop barking. I trained mine not to bark at night if the back porch light was on. I did it by turning the light on, and then turning the garden hose on him. (It wasn't cruel, the neighbors were going to have him hauled away if I didn't do something). After about a week he stopped barking when I turned the porch light on and appeared with the hose in my hands. A week or so later, all I had to do was turn the light on. Then I just left the light on. Had to reinforce occasionally, hehe. He really liked to bark.

My dog HATES cameras...you can old up a cell phone to your face and he thinks it's a camera and he will run outside...

Is the dog taken care of properly? Appropriate shelter, food and clean water???? Too many people tie their dogs out back and 'forget' to take care of them - if that's the case and I was a dog, I'd bark too.

If the case is the people are just conveniently deaf to their dog's barking and the dog is taken care of appropriately, then I'd just go ask 'em to bring the dog in when he's acting up. Of course, then there's always the people who will kick their dog or take it out on them in some fashion if someone complains about them.... people like that should have very bad things happen to them.

If talking to them doesn't work, there's always the police - the pooch is disturbing your peace!

Call them up about 3 in the morning when the dog is barking.
When they answer the phone say I thought you would enjoy hearing your dog bark as much as I do !
