Two years after my BK I finally got a gold card - a Beverly Hills public library gold card that is. It's a plastic card that has the sophisticated look of a gold credit card. I keep it in my wallet on top of my two other credit cards (CapOne $500 CL, Target Guest $200 CL) to impress the clerk at the grocery store. There's no credit limit but the first time I used it I was able to check out over $700 worth of books and videos. FYI, I live in L.A., not Beverly Hills, but anyone in Los Angeles or Orange county can get one for no annual fee. www.bhpl.org -
