Does anyone know of a good insurance company that carries policies for good size boats. Most local companies in our area, do not carry policies for large boats. Need to find one soon. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Dani PS I contacted the marina and they gave me a # for an insurance agent who will shop for a policy, but everyone and their mother is going to be pulling CRs.
Go to BoatUS.com. Apparently they have much better deals on boat insurance than the other major carriers (Progressive, Allstate, etc).. I'm actually in the market for a boat right now...did you finance your boat? Who with? Thanks, jmart
Actually, it is my father's boat and I have been assigned to find a decent insurance carrier. I don't know who he financed with I'm still waiting on the paperwork. I know the interest rate was 7.5%, for 20 years. His other boat (traded it in) was financed through Cit Group out of New York. I'll let you know who it is when I find out.
