This is off topic but I couldn't find an answer using search

What is the meaning of bold heading on discussion threads?

I understand that the little black triangle means there are unread messages, but many times, other discussions have a bold heading and sometimes they also have unread messages in them, sometimes they don't.

    Sorry for the stupid question

Bold heading means you haven't viewed the thread at all

Black triangle (as you said) means there are unseen messages in a thread you've looked at before!

    hope this helps

Strange, because most of the bold heading ones I have read.

well, I'm not sure, maybe others here have a better explaination

It seems to be that way for me

It might have something to do with "cookies" on the computer, as well as if you "logout" of creditnet, or just close you browser window

Ah, maybe. I usually just close the browser.

Not Counting the red and green arrows

actually there are 4 combinations here

1 Light blue - gray arrow
2 Light blue - black arrow
3 Dark blue - gray arrow
4 Dark blue - black arrow.

Don't ask me what they all mean
    Haven't figured it out.

It's the dark blue-gray arrow that I just can't figure.

I'm assuming gray arrow means I've already read the thread and there's nothing new to read. Just can't figure the dark (bold) thread topic and why it changes all the time.
