Okay, we use our debit card for POS often, not all the time, but for the grocery store and here and there. On the 25th used it at Walgreens, no problem. On the 26th, used it at Walgreens again (had to pick up RX) and get assessed a .25 fee (saw online when I was balancing acct). Used it at Walmart a day later and got the same fee. Aren't they supposed to notify someone before they assess fees?? I guess it's my own banks fee although in the transaction description it names the stores so I assumed it was a store fee. I have to wait until Monday to call my bank (NBC in the south) but I just think it stinks that there was no warning of this. I know I can just use it as a cc, but still I guess I'm just miffed that I wasn't notified either way. I know .25 isn't a lot but to me it's the whole thing of not letting me even know it was going to happen. Anyone have this spring up on them also?
Did a new agreement come with your bank statement? Or did your opening account terms say that they MAY charge a fee as they see fit?
