I just found out that when my DH turns 50 in a few months his professional 'group' health insurance rate will increase to about $1,100 a month! This is for a PPO plan for just the two of us. We can't possibly afford $1,100 a month. We've looked into individual plans, but because of prior medical conditions I'm worried that we'll be turned down. Do insurance companies pull your credit when you apply for individual health insurance plans? Does anyone know of a forum like Creditnet where I can get help with health insurance questions? Thanks.
