To Locks of Love, an organization that makes wigs for children with cancer. My daughter was diagnosed when she was 3, but her tumor turned out to be benign. But I still am drawn to theses kind of things. I gave 14 inches, they'll take 10. If anyone has it, give it. It'll grow back! Look on the web site for participating salons in your area. You may even get a free cut! Then you can take the money you would have spent on the "do" to pay you CC bill. (Making this credit-related) Anna
OH wow... My cousin just donated some of her hair a few weeks ago.. I thought she was nuts for doing it but it IS a good cause
Hey, I think that is one of the nicest things a person can do for another person. You are giving your hair to help someone else feel better about themselves. This post is credit related, because if people feel better about themselves, they go out more and perhaps shop, which puts them in debt, and the object of this board is to help you out of debt ;-) But seriously, that was very nice.
If anyone has ever seen a bald child in a cancer unit, as I have, you would see that YOUR hair means NOTHING.
I would love to give some hair, but i don't have alot to give not sure if they'd want it, but i'll donate some money so they can buy some good hair for the kids
This is honestly the funniest thing I have read on this board!!!!!! By the way, I know you are being serious about the money ;-)
I have lots of hair, there's is truth in those wild hair days of mine. I'll donate my hair (that's sincere, I'm tired of so much hair consuming my time) and what a great cause. I'll also donate whatever hair Doc has, surely some stubbies, but he has to be in his briefs, since the boxers didn't fly, AND Breeze has to come along to count and validate the donated stubbies! ;-) Sassy
Sassyinaz - Did you do it yet? Wait till you feel it! It's like Mel Gibson in "Braveheart." Freeeedoooom!!!!!! Anna the Short-Haired
