Breeze... no, the problem with I.E. is on my desktop. My laptop runs I.E. 6.0 with zero problems, (can't put 6.0 on desktop because I'm running Win95 on it), and I also have a power pc and a regular mac. I rarely use those and wouldn't know how to go on the internet with them. BTW, I've tried everything I can think of so far... no luck. Next step is to try the link posted eariler in this thread by NCGolfer.
NCGolfer's is the same link as the one I posted earlier, apparently it didn't help you, it tells you how to fix the problem... but it sounds like you got stuck un/installing after trying the fix. What is the problem now you can't install or uninstall? BTW don't use that AOL IE disk its made for AOL and they add and delete certain features. -Peace, Dave
Dave, nope it didn't work for whatever reason. So...I uninstalled I.E. completely (or so I thought), uninstalled AOL. Re-installed both. And darn-it, wouldn't you know it still says 0-bit. I must have missed uninstalling so files because my bookmarks were still here when I re-installed. BTW I wasn't sure how else to install IE without installing from the CD. After reading your post, I realized I could have downloaded it from the internet using AOL's own little browser. Guess that'll be my next step.
