I was reading on the web today and came across someone that is filing against a CRA. They were asking for people to email him so they could submit a sworn statement to him that would be just like testifying in court. I think that is a good idea ofr those of us that are having problems with the same companies and CAs to the point that we are suing. It would go a long way to show the "preponderance of evidence" that each one of our cases are not one time things. I would be willing to send a notarized statement on my problems with certain companies to anyone that needs it. It could help in mediation as well.

RED FLAG be VERY careful...you may just be giving them your E-MAIL for SPAM purposes...and they could make $100's or $1,000's selling all those E-MAIL ADDRESSES...

If you file against a CRA (or CREDIT CARD COMPANY)...you get to keep ALL the money...if you "JOIN" a group...you MAY get $1.32!!! or even worse...my wife got like $0.34 (CHASE)!!!

I think that my point came across wrong. I meant that we could offer our experiences as evidence that it was not a one time thing. Not by putting your name in as a plantiff. And it would be from someone that you have been in contact with or is a well known member of the board. Just a thought. It's not perfect. As far as I know, you can't dummy up a notary stamp. It's traceable. The FDCPA states that they did not violate a law if it seems to be a mistake. Of course they are going to claim that it was a one time break down in their organization and that it will never happen again. I already have documented cases that I found on the web for larger companies. No problem. But for those of us that are up against some of the smaller ones or those that have not been so well documented could really benefit from helping one another that way. Having sworn statements from 3 or 4 other people that have gone through almost the same exact thing with the same company will show that it was not just a fluke. Like I said, it's a thought.
