I am trying to make a resume for my husband. I am curious if anyone knows of a site where you can input your information and then it formats it to a resume. We used to have a resume wizard, but after my son crashed the computer we lost it So if anyone knows of any helpful sites, or could help I would really appreciate it. Thanks
Mom, Don't know if you need anything special in this resume, but Microsoft Word has a basic resume wizard built in. You have to go to the FILE menu, then click NEW -- based on your version of Word, you should see something that guides you to the wizard. If you just need to do a resume in the next few days, there are several shareware programs that give you 15-30 days to try them out. From Download.com, I searched for Resumes: http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=resume+&tg=dl-2001 Hope this helps! As always,
MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..HI! Ok, what word processing program are ya' using now? I think...yes, I think monster.com will create a resume for you...yes, I'm pretty sure!!!!! BTW, when I saw OT...I'm such a hockey freak, I thought it mean overtime... sigh
Mom, Email me and I'll send you a copy of my resume. Not trying to toot my own horn but I've seriously gotten rave reviews on it. All jokes aside...every time I go for an interview I asked them why they pulled my resume from the hundreds and they said that they liked the format of my resume and the content, etc. Hey...when you are applying for a job where there are 300+ other applicants...you gotta make sure you get noticed and that's what I did. It's not flashy but it's simple and to the point. I might not be able to send it to you until tomorrow morning sometime since my ATTBI internet access is down and they are sending someone between 8-12pm tomorrow.
