I just got a Lane Bryant card today--I'd opened an account 6 years ago, never used it, in fact, I cut up the card. After checking my credit report, I realized it was still out there, I called LB, and VIOLA! They are sending me a new card. Now, what's the big deal? I just filed ch7, and have NO credit cards and need to start rebuilding. This is a perfect way to start. Just a hint for someone out there who needs to start from ground zero. I checked to make sure LB won't run a credit report before sending it-- they won't!!
