I was charged 38.00 overlimit fee for going over my limit by 6.00.Juniper bank refuses to waive this fee. This is the first time this has happened to me.I made two payments totaling 113.00 before the billing cycle ended on July 5th.When i checked my balance on July 2 i had 60.00 available credit.Since my credit limit is 2200 at 16.9 interest rate there should of been enough credit left to cover any interest fee.Even though i pointed this out to them they refuse to waive the fee. What can i do now? Thanks

    1) Did you send your dispute in writing, to the address for billing disputes indicated on your statements?

    2) Get a better bank.

If you have called them and asked politely for some favor in reversing this charge and they have said no...seems like you are out of luck. Most creditors will acquiesce and do this if it is the first time and there is a legitimate reason or you have asked politely. If you have done these things and still no luck....just the way it goes....try and manage your balances better so you dont get so close to your limit...I am sure the bank is concerned about your spending pattern.
