The question that I have is concerning over limit fees. I got behind on my payments due to unemployment. I was late on a payment and I was charged a late fees which put me over my credit limit and a overlimit fee was accessed to my account. Since then, I have been unable to continue with my payments and I am being charged a late fee and also an overlimit fee each month. I requested that these accounts be closed. Is there a way to get these charges removed? Thank you, Pat

xsassygirl, Check out the links lbrown59 posted. They are very valuable. You're going to need to pay down the account so you're not late. Then fire off a letter to your cc company (a goodwill letter) requesting they remove 1 late/overlimit charge. Good luck.
