    I have looked at a number of the sites which have SOL listings, but have gotten two different answers as to what the SOL for PA is. If a utility account is considered an open account, i've seen both 4 and 6 years listed as being the SOL periods.

    Unfortunately, PA doesn't have an official copy of the state law books online, so I haven't been able to get a definative date.

    I requested validation from the utilities latest CA, and they provided only a handfull of 'statements' (literally in days of receiving the green cards -- green cards dated 7th & 8th -- statements printed on the 8th, mailed on the 14th, received on the 15th); (statements listing DOCUMENT:UNTITLED in the header of them ;)) whether they were printed on their computer or the OC's can't be told, so I included a statement stating that I couldn't make out whether their documentation complied with the Wollman Opinion; in addition to it being incomplete.

    The last payment according to the statements was 9/21/98 (which would make SOL around that time in 02 if the SOL is 4 years.)

    I have the statute of limitations for PA as:

    4 = Promissory
    4 = Oral
    4 = Open Ended
    4 = Written

    I printed this information from Http://members.cox.net/faircredit/statuteoflimitations.htm

    I can't access it now (must have to be a member) but I printed it off in September of 2002 and the list says that it was updated as of March 2003.

    Hope this info it correct!

    Did they demand payment when they sent this?
    If so that is a 1000 buck violation. as the 14th is way after the 8th.

    luckily for them they just sent a stack of thick print outs... but to ensure that they didn't consider that complete validation, i sent out an incomplete notice... ;) and a copy of the Wollman Opinion.
