Pacific Bancom?

Yesterday I received a letter from a place called Pacific Bancom (which I have never heard of before) offering me an unspecified type of credit card, with a $3000 limit, through a "program". Has anyone ever heard of this company? My gut feeling is that the offer sounds too good to be true, so it probably is...

    It sounds like a scam.
Any valid credit card offer will disclose
the terms in advance. Basically you'll know
    what card you'll get.

So, I would trash it immediately

    Sorin,

Thanks for your reply. I agree!

BTW, I called them and the "program" involved, basically, sending $290 (naturally, by money order) by express mail in order to receive a Mastercard or Visa via return express mail. I wasn't born yesterday, so I trashed the notice. I also did a Net search and could find nothing about this so-called bank.

    Cheers,
    Cindy

    FORWARD TO POSTAL INSPECTORS.

    Cindy,

you should forward that to the Postal Inspectors, and let them explain the programme to them!

I received the same letter, the envelope was hand addressed. I feel like if I send the money they're going to disappear.

I talked to them again. They were very unhappy with me when I asked simple questions like what bank was exetending the crdeit, etc.
