Anyone here anything at all reputable about this company? I received a letter staing an offer for crdit but when I spoke with them they want $289 and they weren't to eager to answer my questions, in fact they told me to just send the money and get off the phone as they had others to call....

I have never heard of them, but sending $289 to a company that won't answer questions sounds kinda fishy to me?

I would just get off the phone. One out of two is not so bad.

If you accept the offer, you probably deserve it. (j/k)

Shred it, burn it and litter accross the ocean. Some things are not even worth recycling.

Luke, I got the same letter (I posted a question about the company a few weeks back). After doing some research on the Net, I was even more suspicious, as I could find no information on Pacific Bancom. I was also not filled with confidence at their hand-addressed envelope. I shredded the thing. One of the folks on this board did suggest sending it to the Postal Inspectors, as it is most likely mail fraud.

    Cheers,
    Cindy
