Re: Re: Re: Re: Pager Bill Gone to Collections I have a credit monitoring membership with CreditInform (a crappy service that ends soon). Allegedly, it's powered by Equifax. It does not show the CA, but rather the OC on my "report." I'm going to pull a Equifax report. If the CA has not reported to EQ, should I send a validation letter to the OC?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Pager Bill Gone to Collections should I send a validation letter to the OC FijiUCF ============= validation letter isn't for an OC THE END ** *** ** LB 59
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Pager Bill Gone to Collections I'm still fighting with them. It has been 40 days since they received my letter and still no deletion. I'm about to send them their second letter, and then a third 15 days later. The next one after that will be to EX demanding a deletion. I wish the CA was in my state so that I could sue them in small claims. I already have them on three FDCPA violations.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Pager Bill Gone to Collections You have a couple things going for you. TSR Wireless went chapter 7 bankrupt in 12/00. The assets of the company (paging transmitters and existing pager accounts) were purchased by a company called Network Services in El Segundo California. Since the debt was owed to TSR and they went out of business, it will be quite difficult for the credit bureau to verify whether you legitimately cancelled your service with TSR or just let the bill slide. Use this fact to your advantage.
