Hi, I disputed a paid collection from 2001 with ex. The acct is now appearing as paid collection but they added 3 months of payment history all over 90 days late. I never had a payment plan with them. Where did the history come from? It killed my score because now I have a paid co and 3 lates. Can anyone enlighten me? What can I do?
Is the payment history posted from the original creditor before the account was sent to collection, or from the CA?
Hi, no this was one month's rent to a landlord. He sent me to collections. Once they contacted me, I paid immediately. There were never any payment arragements. Thanks.
