all 3 CRA have the same info except for 1 paid collection account in Experian that others have.

My experian score is about 120 pts lower then the other 2.

That does not seem normal that one paid collection account can bring it down that much?

this was a collection from 1999 that was paid off
in july 2002. the only negative that I have after I got the others deleted.

What is confusing is that the report says it is a paid collection account when I pull it from experian's credit manager, however when we recently pulled a mortgage report,

it still says in the account name/description that it is
a paid collection, however the current status says I05.

Isn't that Installment with 120 days overdue status?

If this is the way it is reading it, it makes sense that it is pulling it down that much.

shouldnt a paid collection have a current status that is different?

    What do you all think?

    thanks,

It does sound like the current status is pulling the score down. I would dispute the current status.
