From my last post, I just got a copy of my Equifax report in the mail. I paid off a $69.00 collection that was six years old in exchange for full deletion from the credit file. I got this agreement in writing but I never got the item back. I paid the debt at a local branch and submitted the letter. Thankfully, I got a receipt for this, but this is still showing as not paid on the report and I paid it off two months ago. WTF?
