All, How do I go about getting the current purchaser of my old Discover account to send me a copy of my original signed agreement and last charge statement. Being I already paid them off, do I have any law to back me up on this ? If you recall, this company filed suit against me and I paniced and gave them whatever without validating anything. Now that they have my money is there anything I can do to get the above items I mentioned? A sample letter will be great and time is of the essence.
Really, if the account is that old they may not even have them or, ever had them. They'll probably tell you to contact Discover. Just write and come right out with what you want and see what they say. Your best bet may be to contact someone in their legal or, complaince dept.
