Are paid tax liens just as negative as unpaid tax liens? All that's left on one of my husband's reports is 3 of them. All the other negatives are gone, and the inquiries are gone. I am thinking about applying for a cc that only pulls that one report, but I'm not sure how these are affecting his chances of approval. He also has 1 new cc in July, two installment loans new in Aug. Not sure what his score is now, probably low 600's. Any advice???
