Parking Tickets

I have several parking tickets that were sent to collections, then I paid them, and to my recent horror are showing up on my Equifax report as 3 items in collections. The collection agency is Firstpoint, which is affiliated closely with Equifax so I'm just not sure how to proceed. Would it be possible that the standard dispute route would work here? Would the 'nutcase' letter be prudent?

Please help. I've finally cleared about 10 derogs off my file in the last year and this is just a heartbreaking shock.

    Thanks guys.

Does 'not mine' still work after I've paid the accounts?

    Thanks!

All you have to do is wait about 35 days to find out...

A lot depends on the CSR who gets your plea. Honest.

Ok thanks guys. Before I started reading cnet, I called the CA to get a handle on what all was owed and tried to strike a deal to not have this stuff on the credit report anymore if I paid in full..etc.

Have I already dented my chances by speaking on the phone with them? Anyone have any experience dealing with FirstPoint?
