    Question:

If a person filed BK and 2 years later he/she has obtain 2 credit cards Visa/Mastercard and if he/she apply for another credit card, what will the company doing the credit check look at the past paying history defore the BK or the current paying history after the BK?

The BK stays on your credit history for 10 years, so if you've gotten credit cards in the 2 years since your BK, the companies are looking at your overall credit history.

    Dear Sam/Samantha,

Thank you/y'all for contacting Customer Service. To answer/respond to your question; if he/she applies for a new card after/before a BK, but has a good/bad paying history with his/her Visa/Mastercard (that he/she obtain after/defore the BK) in the 2 years since/defore the BK, then one/everyone should expect that paying history to be ignored/considered. Hope this helps/hurts.

    Thanks/not for contacting/bothering Customer/Lamebrain Service.
