I have been in a debt management program for the past year. I recently found out that even though I am paying through the program, many creditors list their accounts as past due on the credit report. Does anyone have any information on this? cj
It could be that the program's date of payment to the creditors does not match their due date for the account. Contact your counselor and ask them about it. If necessary call the creditors and ask them to change the due date to when the program dispurses your money. Good luck!
